Where it began

Our founder runs Indigenous Honey, an FMCG and e-commerce business within the Turritopsis Group. It sells through marketplaces, quick-commerce apps and its own online store, and has teams in operations, packaging, advertising and customer experience.

As the business grew, so did the friction:

• Tasks were scattered across chat conversations.
• Managers copied tasks into spreadsheets by hand.
• Following up on work took a large share of management time.
• It was hard to see who was accountable for what.
• Sales and advertising figures sat across many different platforms.
• Attendance and daily administration needed separate systems.
• The owner had become the final bottleneck for too many decisions.

What we built

Instead of adding more spreadsheets, we started building our own internal software, one problem at a time. First came Axon, to turn team conversations into tasks with owners, reviews and a final approval. Then came a Sales Tracker for channel-wise sales and ad spend, a Meta Ads workspace for safer advertising control, and an Attendance system for the shop floor and office.

These applications now run our own daily operations, with the Owner, Heads, Managers and team members using them on Android phones, iPhones, Macs and Windows computers.

Why we are opening it up

The problems we faced are not unique to us. Most growing businesses reach the point where chat groups and spreadsheets stop working, but enterprise systems feel too heavy. We are developing our tools into products that other organisations can use, starting with guided demos and early access.
